Love, Love, Love, Love, Crazy Love

The world is celebrating the Hallmark holiday of Valentine's Day tomorrow. Today, however, just happens to be Friday the 13th - a date synonymous with bad luck and horror movies.

Tonight Meg and I are going to see the remake of Friday the 13th (yep, you guessed it, the one starring Jared Padalecki). Neither of us have what anyone would consider a traditional valentine (though if you consider stalkers, Meg might have 3 or 4 but I'll let her explain that - you're welcome Meg!) to spend the weekend with - so we're spending it together... watching horror movies.

Netflix has mailed us the masterpiece that is Devour to watch on Saturday. Okay - so I'm completely predictable, it's yet another movie starring Jensen Ackles. What can I say. He's pretty. I like to watch pretty people.

heh.

I'll wrap up this horror-love-fest on Sunday as we gather to celebrate a friends birthday with dinner and yet another movie, this time it will be the infinitely less bloody 'He's just not that into you' which I feel is a nice cap to this weekend of love.

I'm so glad that I have Meg here, she shares my twisted sense of humor and there is no one else I would rather spend the holiday with... okay... almost no one else... *wink* I'm talkin' to you Sam and Dean!.... hahahahaha

I know, my crazy is showing again.

This post was originally intended to recognize the love that I have in my life and I guess my thoughts wandered and well... whatever.

I am fortunate in the love department. I have family and friends that love and care for me. They are parents, siblings, friends, co-workers, former co-workers and a not-quite-ex-husband who are strong and funny and all around beautiful people that I am grateful to have in my life.
